An artist whose encaustic and oil paintings give impressions of both seen and unseen spiritual perspectives.
I live an art-filled life as a painter, art educator, and curator. Now I am also a student pursuing my master's in art education. Adding philosophy as a way of approaching art has broadened my point of view and given space to my thoughts and opinions on various subjects.

I am a photographer who paints. Working with encaustic, oil, cold wax, acrylic, and ink allows me to combine my first passion of photography with my found love of painting.
When I just paint, I discover spiritual atmospheres that show up in dreams/visions. When I collage, I am able to explore the combination of my photos and monotypes with found paper and fabric encased in wax or acrylic. I make shapes and connections between different materials to communicate my emotional and spiritual introspective of life.

It has always been my dream to swim in color. I love color -- how it creates interactions, reactions and the overall effect color has on its surroundings. I believe that the world is more colorful than the human eye perceives. And when the light is shown on various aspects of our world, we see the color we were intended to experience.
