My paintings emerge in moments of worship and in reflection on the life of my church family. Each piece is shaped by quick, responsive movements—my brush reacting instinctively to the music, prayers, and spoken words that fill the room. The imagery reflects both the seen and unseen realms: that sacred space between heaven and earth where time feels different, where the eternal brushes up against our temporal world, inviting us to listen more closely and see more deeply into the heart of our Creator and Savior.
Most works are created in oil on canvas during live worship, painted in front of an audience who witnesses the Spirit moving across the surface as the image unfolds. Some paintings come easily, flowing freely in harmony with the moment. Others carry tension—resistance, disagreement, or moments of confusion between Creator and creator. Yet even in that struggle, something holy is formed.
People often connect with these images as memories of dreams, encounters, or moments when heaven touched earth. Each painting is a remembrance, a marker, a testimony. All are shaped by a distinctly holy perspective.
